Hey, I wanted to let you know that I just updated the Akismet SPAM protection and I added some new spam proofing abilities in case Akismet is unreliable again. This should make it so you stop seeing spam comments on the site. sorry for the inconvenience.
If you're looking to find out why Akismet isn't working and catching spam anymore on your own site, you'll want to update your class file and make the necessary changes. The current class for PHP5 is at: https://github.com/achingbrain/php5-akismet/blob/…Akismet.class.php
I modified the file to my needs and it was a quick and simple process and now the issue should be fixed.
